Michael Gazzaniga is Distinguished Professor, Director of the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience, and Dean of the Faculty at Dartmouth College where he conducts research on how the brain enables the mind. Having earned his Ph.D. in psychobiology at the California Institute of Technology, Gazzaniga has made remarkable advances in our understanding of how the cerebral hemispheres communicate with one another, and has made information about brain function widely accessible to a general audience through his many books, including Mind Matters and Nature's Mind, as well as through the public television special The Brain and the Mind. Michael will be speaking on The Ethical Brain.
