Ori Z. Soltes is Professorial Lecturer at Georgetown University and has also taught in the Classics Department at Johns Hopkins and Cleveland State Universities. Professor Solte? areas of specialization include Jewish, Christian and Muslim art and religions, classical philosophy, linguistics and Indo-European philology and Greek and Roman art. His many academic honors include an NEH Fellowship in Syro-Palestinian Archaeology at ASOR. He is a very popular speaker and has given lecture series at several museums, including the Metropolitan Museum and the Smithsonian Institution. Professor Soltes regularly leads tours throughout the Mediterranean basin. He has led five tours for Archaeological Tours to Spain and Sicily. The title of his lecture is "Symbols in Contemporary Art."
